PeakFest
What: Arguably the biggest event in Apex, PeakFest attractions thousands of visitors to the streets of Downtown each year in a celebration of the Peak of Good Living. Food, over 200 vendors, live entertainment, dance, and music, carnival rides, street performers, and more.

Apex Latino Arts Festival
What: Celebrate a rich culture and community with a full afternoon and evening of arts, crafts, foods, music, dance, and more.

Peak City Pig Fest
What: A popular local favorite featuring a full weekend of a juried barbecue cook-off between some of the best bbq cook teams in the state.
When: Third Saturday and Sunday in June
Olde Fashioned 4th of July
What: A full morning of activities, including a Flag Raising, kids games and rides, a climbing wall, a parades, and more.

Trick or Treat on Salem Street
What: Friday and Saturday events include Witches on Salem Street and Businesses Treat the Kids.
When: Saturday before Halloween.
Turkey Trot 5k
What: Annual 5k race at Apex Community Park with a scenic course through the park and around a lake.
When: Saturday before Thanksgiving
Christmas on Salem Street
What: Featuring a full weekend of holiday fun: a tree lighting and sleigh rides on Friday, a Pancake Breakfast, pictures with Santa, and parade on Saturday, and Historic Home Tours on Sunday.
When: First weekend of December.
